Lo que serás capaz de hacer
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. AI Disclosure: Some audio narration in this course is generated using artificial intelligence (text-to-speech technology) to ensure clear, consistent, and high-quality delivery of the content. STAR-CCM+ Expert Applications: Complex CFD for Real Engineering Problems (Volume 1) is designed for learners who already understand the fundamentals of simulation and want to move into more demanding, high-value engineering work. This course goes beyond basic setup and standard workflows. The focus is on solving more complex CFD problems in STAR-CCM+ using deeper physics, stronger modeling strategy, and more professional simulation thinking. Instead of only learning where to click, you will learn how to approach difficult engineering cases with clarity, structure, and confidence. Throughout the course, you will work with advanced applications that reflect real engineering challenges. You will learn how to handle more complex geometries, more demanding boundary conditions, stronger physical interactions, and simulation cases that require careful decisions in setup, meshing, modeling, and post-processing. The goal is to help you build the judgment and workflow discipline needed for high-level CFD work. This course is especially suitable for engineers, researchers, graduate students, and simulation users who want to expand beyond introductory and intermediate STAR-CCM+ training. If you already know the basics and want to tackle more realistic, more technical, and more industrially relevant problems, this course is built for that next step. By the end of the course, you will be better prepared to build and analyze advanced STAR-CCM+ models, understand the logic behind complex simulation decisions, and apply the software more effectively to real engineering problems. This is not a beginner course. It is a higher-level training package for those who want to push their STAR-CCM+ skills further and develop a more expert, application-driven approach to CFD simulation.
- Build and run advanced STAR-CCM+ simulations for complex real engineering problems using professional CFD workflows.
- Set up moving-body simulations using overset mesh, rotation, translation, AMI, and DFBI-based motion modeling.
- Create and analyze marine and multiphase cases such as propeller performance prediction, water-entry simulation, and cyclone separator flow.
- Generate advanced geometries directly in STAR-CCM+ 3D-CAD, including parametric models and freeform surface deformation.
- Transition simulations from steady-state to more advanced unsteady workflows and interpret the physical differences in the results.
- Apply adjoint shape optimization to improve aerodynamic performance and automate optimization loops inside STAR-CCM+.
